FlixNexus editor’s note
Baththa is not a serious gangster film - it's 1986 Madras comedy where dreaded gangster Bathvachalam gets locked inside a school toilet by an 8-year-old boy and the whole city searches for him. Vijay Sethupathi in full comic timing, not violent. Best watched in Tamil original on Netflix from Oct 29, 2026 - the Madras slang lands best in Tamil, though Hindi/Telugu/Kannada/Malayalam dubs are on Netflix too. Under 2h 30m, no gore, family-friendly despite gangster tag, best weekend family watch. Not on Prime Video or Sun NXT, Netflix exclusive
